About Hyperliquid perpetual markets
A perpetual is a futures contract with no expiry date. Each Hyperliquid perpetual has a mark price, used for margin, unrealized PnL and liquidations, and an oracle price that tracks external spot references. Funding payments exchanged between longs and shorts every hour keep the perpetual price close to the oracle.
Prices, funding, volume and open interest on these pages come from Hyperliquid's public API. Each market page labels its snapshot with the time it was fetched. Values can change before an order is placed, so check the trading screen for the latest quote.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between mark price and oracle price?
The oracle price is an external spot reference published by Hyperliquid validators. The mark price is used for margin, unrealized PnL and liquidation. They are usually close but can diverge in fast markets.
How often is funding paid on Hyperliquid?
Funding is exchanged every hour between long and short positions. A positive rate means longs pay shorts; a negative rate means shorts pay longs.
Are the prices on these pages executable quotes?
No. They are indicative snapshots labeled with their fetch time. Check the trading screen for the current quote before placing an order.
